Whether you need a workshop long as 12 weeks or a seminar as short as four hours, Sharon Palmeri offers flexibility. Classes offered include: creative writing, writing memoirs, writing children’s books, fiction and nonfiction writing, writing for magazine and newspapers, publishing and promoting your book, and self-editing for the author. Palmeri also conducts online courses upon request.
Private consulting services are available to help develop and structure writing projects and advise clients on submissions, agents and proposals. Other services offered are: book doctoring, proofreading, content editing, and ghostwriting. Palmeri received her BS in English and journalism from Indiana University Northwest and IU Bloomington. As a teacher and published author, she has taught in all areas of writing for 20 years and has had over two-hundred articles and stories published in magazines and newspapers. Palmeri freelances as a ghost writer, editor, book doctor, publicist, and publication consultant. She also has worked as content editor, advisor and layout designer. In 1989 she founded Write-on Hoosiers, Inc. and served as director and executive editor for Hoosier Horizon literary magazine and Hoosier Horizon Children’s Magazine.
